The low bio persistence grade of the SoliBlanket product range is labelled our ‘ULS’ grade. The SoliBlanket ULS-grade is the first Generation III manufactured, Ultra Low Shot, low bio persistence (LBP) high temperature insulating fiber blanket worldwide. The SoliBlanket ULS-grade has a classification temperature of 1200°C and is engineered to perform continuously in a wide range of applications up till 1050°C continuously.
ULS stands for Ultra Low Shot and Soliblanket ULS is a true Generation III product that enhances great benefits over Generation I and Generation II low bio persistence fiber blankets, with improved thermal conductivity and mechanical strength as result of the high fiber index.
The low bio persistence grade of the SoliBlanket product range is labelled our ‘ULS’ grade. The SoliBlanket ULS-grade has a classification temperature of 1200°C and is engineered to perform continuously in a wide range of applications up till 1050°C continuously. As a result, SoliBoard ULS-grade is a ideal choice for refractory installations, but is particularly populair for use in domestic boilers.
All products in the SoliWool ULS fibers product range, like the SoliBoard ULS, meet the requirements specified under NOTE Q of European Regulation 1272/2008. All SoliBoard ULS products are therefore exonerated from labelling requirements in Europe.
The SoliBulk product range is the basis of nearly all our products as the majority of our bulk production gets converted at our own factory. In the SoliBulk product range, the SoliBulk ULS-grade is our famous Generation III, Ultra Low Shot technology low bio persistence bulk. We offer our SoliBulk in a wide variety of specifications tailored to the commonly known applications from raw material for Vacuum Forming to general lubricated bulk which can be used for filling and stuffing voids and gaps in furnace linings.
SoliPaper™ ULS®-Grade High Strength
The SoliPaper HS-grade is our high strength version of our standard SoliPaper ULS®. SoliPaper HS-grade contains a small percentage of special high strength fibers which are increasing the tensile strength of the final paper product. In result the SoliPaper HS-grade offers up to 8 times higher tensile strength than a standard low bio persistence fiber paper. Whilst the SoliPaper HS is based on our 1200°C rated SoliWool ULS bulk fiber, and is able to offer protection to short term exposures till 1300°C, it is recommended for continuous use temperature till 900°C.
SoliPaper ULS-grade is our standard Low Bio Persistence (LBP) fiber paper which is available for use in a wide range of applications. SoliPaper ULS-grade is the original from which several spin-off products like the SoliPaper ULS LOWPAC and the ULS High Strength have been developed. SoliPaper ULS-grade is manufactured from our Generation III, Ultra Low Shot fiber technology fiber.
In result the SoliPaper ULS-grade, compared to standard LBP fiber based papers, excels in the highest possible thermal insulation value and handling strength. SoliPaper ULS-grade has a classification temperature of 1200°C and is recommended for use up till 1050°C continuously.
SoliPaper ULS-Grade LowPac
SoliPaper™ ULS®-Grade LowPac
SoliPaper ULS® LOWPAC is our industrial grade low bio persistence fiber paper made from our SoliWool ULS bulk fiber and special selected fillers. Compared to our standard SoliPaper ULS, the LOWPAC grade is manufactured with a lower density and tighter thickness specification. SoliPaper ULS LOWPAC is only available in Jumborolls which are optimized for conversion by high volume gasket cutting. SoliPaper ULS-grade LOWPAC has a classification temperature of 1200°C and is recommended for use up till 1050°C.
