After more than two years of exploration, planning, and preparation, we are proud to finally share what has been quietly taking shape behind the scenes:
We are building a new fiber manufacturing plant in Bergama, Türkiye.
Our journey began over two years ago with a global search for the perfect location to support our long-term expansion. After evaluating numerous countries and regions, Bergama, Türkiye, emerged as the ideal home for our next chapter.
The second year was dedicated to turning vision into reality—working closely with our project teams on architectural design, budgeting, building permits, and selecting strong local engineering and construction partners. Throughout this process, we deliberately kept our plans confidential.
Today, with construction officially underway, we are ready to share the news.
The new facility will produce our renowned Generation III fiber products, adding an annual capacity of 400,000 rolls of high-quality high-temperature insulation materials.
This investment represents more than a new factory. It is a clear statement of our ambition to become a global leader in high-quality, high-temperature insulation solutions.
A message from our Managing Director
Commenting on this milestone, Managing Director Bennie Lekkerkerk shares:
“The news I was already hinting at earlier has now become reality: our new fiber plant in Türkiye. This is a moment of real pride. Everything we have achieved comes from organic growth, an incredible team of colleagues, and a strong network of distribution partners. Together, this is the Vulcor family.”
He adds:
“Backed by great products, strong values, and an unwavering focus on quality, we continue to build for the long term providing better, more reliable, high-performance thermal insulation solutions for industrial applications. A world to win, a world to save.”
