About SoliFelt
SoliFelt is a range of latex-bonded flexible felt products manufactured from Generation III Ultra Low Shot (ULS) fiber. Unlike rigid board products, SoliFelt remains flexible after production, combining the structural strength of a board with the flexibility and resiliency required to form a reliable mechanical seal. This makes it particularly suited for gasket production and veneering modules in demanding industrial environments.
All SoliFelt products are manufactured from fine, ultra-clean SoliWool fiber, resulting in a very smooth surface, close dimensional tolerances, exceptionally low dust, and outstanding thermal insulation performance.
The SoliFelt range is available in both Low Bio Persistence (LBP) and Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF) variants:
Typical Applications
SoliFelt is used across a wide range of industries and applications, including gaskets for expansion joints between pre-cast shapes and IFB linings, gaskets for ladles and ingots in the steel industry, production of veneering modules, and general technical insulation of furnaces and industrial installations.
Availability
SoliFelt ULS-grade is available in standard sheet dimensions of 1200×600 mm, in thicknesses of 6, 13 and 25 mm. SoliFelt X-grade and ZR-grade are available in 1200×1000 mm, in thicknesses of 6, 10, 13, 19 and 25 mm. Custom sizes are available on request.
