SoliPaper PCW35 HT Grade

SoliPaper PCW35 HT Grade

SoliPaper™ PCW35 HT-Grade

SoliPaper™ PCW Blended grades are a clever way to provide high temperature paper solutions without the costs of pure PCW fiber based papers.

By blending Polycrystalline Wool with our unique SoliWool HA-grade we make papers which arrive to classification temperatures up to 2900°F and maximum continuous use temperatures of 2600°F. In these chemical compositions the PCW fiber is boosting the classification temperature where our SoliWool HA-grade is providing additional strength.

The standard version of the PCW blended grade paper is our SoliPaper PCW35 HT-grade. Manufactured from a mixture of SoliWool HA-grade, high alumina/ mullite fibers, and specialty organic binders. It provides a classification temperature of 2750°F and is advised for applications with a maximum continuous use temperature of 2500°F.

Description

SoliPaper PCW Blended grades are our highest rated paper in the SoliPaper product range. The high classification temperature is the result of the use of Poly Crystalline Wool (PCW) fibers in the composition of the paper. By blending Polycrystalline Wool with our unique SoliWool HA-grade we make papers which arrive to classification temperatures up to 2900°F and maximum continuous use temperatures of 2600°F.

SoliPaper PCW35 HT-grade provides a classification temperature of 2750°F and is advised for applications with a maximum continuous use temperature of 2500°F.

SoliPaper PCW Blended grade products are a competitive solution in these applications where standard RCF papers are facing the limits of their safe continuous use. Targeted to deliver the highest possible thermal insulation value and handling strength.  The combination of the two types of fiber are delivering best of both worlds.

Next to the SoliPaper PCW Blended grades we also offer a standard range of RCF(-Zr) Papers from 2300°F to 2600°F and the famous low bio persistence grade (LBP) families; SoliPaper ULS and SoliPaper NXT.
